Pregnancy Growth & Presentation Scan
If you are concerned about the normal growth and well-being of the baby in the second half of your pregnancy we offer a 2D Growth & Presentation Scan in between the 22-40 weeks period.
The Growth & Presentation Scan is a 5-10 minute scan which includes a report stating the estimated fetal weight (EFW), confirmation of fetal presentation & placental site, growth measurements and three 2D black and white thermal prints and digital images. The gender can be determined and is included in the package with our compliments.

Pregnancy Growth Scans
A Pregnancy Growth Scan, known as a foetal well-being check is a type of ultrasound scan used to measure baby growth, estimated weight and development. These types of scans are not typically carried out unless requested or a concern arises. The scanning procedure is non-invasive and carried out the same way as all scans prior would have been. This is a 5-10 minute process where measurements of your baby's head, abdomen and thigh bone are taken, along with the amount of amniotic fluid present. These measurements are then used to determine your baby's estimated weight, where the sonographer will discuss any findings and provide a full report including with thermal images.
When attending any pregnancy growth scan, it is always recommended to carry your NHS notes. These may be required by the sonographer to check previous scans and foetal information.
