You will need to start drinking fluids 30 to 45 minutes before your appointment time and refrain from using the bathroom within this period. It is a 5 minute 2D scan to confirm the results of a pregnancy test, gestational age of your baby, an estimated due date of your baby and to confirm a heartbeat.
